Former St Etienne striker Adrien Ponsard is disappointed they failed to appoint Claudio Ranieri as new coach.

The former Leicester City boss was targeted by ASSE before they eventually turned to Red Bull Salzburg's Oscar Garcia.

Ponsard lamented: "Personally, I would like it to be Claudio Ranieri. Yes, he is the most expensive but he is also the one with the most experience.
