Exclusive - 2022 World Cup: South Korea coach to attend and monitor Ghana friendlies in Japan

Coach Paulo Bento of the Korean national football team has stated that he would do everything possible to prepare for the forthcoming June assessment.

During the same time period, he stated that he would extensively examine Ghana, the World Cup's group H opponent, where they will play an evaluation match against Japan.

Coach Bento spoke with reporters after attending an event in Cheonan about his thoughts on the new soccer facility and the process of preparing for the scouting in June.

Coach Bento said, "I think we have taken an important first step for the future of Korean football. It will help the players to maintain good condition and develop their skills. Without a doubt, this is an important day for the development of Korean football."

Bento added, "We plan to analyze the opponents who will face the World Cup in the best way. We will watch (the match in Ghana) in person and analyze the video together. We plan to get enough information about it,”
