Anderlecht Sporting director Wouter Vandenhaute and Vincent Kompany have clashed on Mohammed Dauda's future, footballghana.com can exclusively confirm.
Kompany initially did not have the 22-year-old in his plans and did not mind if he left the club in the summer.
However, footballghana.com understands that Vandenhaute blocked a potential transfer of Dauda to Spanish second tier side Mallorca.
This forced Kompany to include Dauda in the first team for the first time this season.
Dauda has made two appearances for the Belgian top flight side but is yet to make a real impact.
He played for Asante Kotoko during his early days before making a switch to Belgium.
