Black Stars forward Andre Ayew has agreed a 20% wage deferral deal with Swansea which will pile up until fans return to the stadium, footballghana.com can exclusively report.
The 30 year old pockets around £60,000 a week meaning about £12000 will be held back every week until fans are allowed to return to stadiums.
The deferral will affect only players who claim over £4000 a week at Swansea.
This has come up due to the devastating effect on football caused by the coronavirus.
Footballghana.com understands that an initial 40% deferral was placed on the table by the Swansea owners but Andre Ayew together with high earning players of the club argued their case to bring it down to 20%.
