EXCLUSIVE: Defender Baba Rahman begins training at Real Mallorca after two months layoff

Published on: 13 November 2019

Ghanaian defender Abdul Baba Rahman has begun training at Real Mallorca after being sidelined for two months following an injury he suffered earlier in the season.

He sustained the injury whiles in action for the side during their Spanish La Liga game against Getafe in September as they lost 4-2.

After several weeks of absence from action, Baba Rahman has joined the team and has been training at the Sports City of Son Bibiloni since Monday.

The player who is currently on a season-long loan from Chelsea has made steady progress and will be ready for action after the international break.

His return is expected to give Real Mallorca a squad boost as they target maintaining their top-flight status at the end of the 2019/2020 season.
