Former Ghana U-20 star Ebenezer Assifuah will leave French Ligue 2 side Le Havre this summer, footballghana.com can exclusively report.

The striker joined the club in 2017 from Sion on the back of an impressive spell in the Swish Super Lig.

Three years in France, he is now set to part ways with Le Havre as he looks forward to a new challenge in a different club.

He is one of a few players whose contract with the French Ligue 2 side will end on June 30. About a month to go, the club has confirmed that the players will not be part of their squad for the next season. Hence they will be allowed to leave when their contract expires.

Besides Ebenezer Assifuah, others including Loïc Badé, Baba Traoré, Pape Gueye, Amos Youga, and Eric Junior Dina Ebimbe will all be shown the exit door.

The 26-year-old Ghanaian will leave Le Havre after scoring 5 goals in 53 appearances. He will have loads of potential and is expected to make a name for himself if he joins the right club next season.
