EXCLUSIVE: Former Ghana youth goalkeeper Daniel Agyei joins Ethiopian side Sebeta Kenema FC

Footballghana.com can exclusively report that Ghanaian international Daniel Agyei has completed his transfer to Ethiopian Premier League newcomers Sebeta Kenema FC.

The goalkeeper has been in negotiations with the side in the last couple of weeks and finally signed the dotted lines earlier today.

Agyei has penned a one-year contract but could be handed an extension depending on his performance for the club at the end of the 2019/2020 season.

Formerly a shot-stopper for Ghana Premier League side Liberty Professionals, Daniel Agyei is hopeful of enjoying a successful campaign with the Ethiopian League newbies.

He was adjudged the best goalkeeper in Ethiopia at the end of the 2017/2018 season after helping Jimma Abba Jifar FC to win the league title.

He was part of the Ghana u-20 team that won the 2009 FIFA U20 World Cup when it was hosted in Egypt.
