EXCLUSIVE: Ghanaian winger Paul Mensah on the radar of Paul Austrian side Sturm Graz

Footballghana.com can exclusively report that Paul Mensah has popped up on the radar of Austrian outfit Sturm Graz, with the club interested in securing his services this summer.

The Ghanaian international currently plays for SV Kapfenberg where he has established himself as one of the best players of the team.

At the end of the 2019/2020 football season in the Austria 2. Liga, he has attracted a lot of interest from clubs in the Bundesliga.

Our sources have disclosed that top-flight side Sturm Graz is at the moment leading the race for Paul Mensah with checks indicating that they have already prepared a bid.

In an interview, Kapfenberg President Erwin Fuchs has revealed that there are clubs ready to sign the 20-year-old winger.

“A lot of clubs are interested in Paul Mensah. I said: Before going anywhere else, he should inquire about Sturm - if Sturm is interested, he will have talks. That's how it looks”, he said.

If the transfer happens, it will mean that Paul Mensah has steadily taken a giant step in his career.

Last season, he made a total of 24 appearances for SV Kapfenberg and managed to score 9 goals in the process.

The winger formerly played for Krystal Palace in Ghana before moving to Germany in 2018 to sign for Kapfenberg.
