Ghanaian International, Isaac Cofie has today secured a move to Turkish side Sivasspor in a two-year deal that will see him playing in the Süper Lig in the upcoming 2019/2020 season.

The 28-year-old signed the contract with the Red and White lads from Spanish Segunda Division side Sporting Gijon with an option to renew for another year after undergoing a successful medical test.

The transfer comes on the back of Isaac Cofie’s impressive stint with the Rojiblanco where he emerged as one of their best players.

He had been heavily linked with a move to Cypriot outfit Apoel Nicosia but has opted to commit his future to Sivasspor.

The midfielder who made 25 league appearances is now expected to provide stability to the center of midfield for his new side when the new season begins.
