EXCLUSIVE: Italian side Ascoli Picchio FC closing in on Ghanaian midfielder Moses Odjer

Italian side Ascoli Picchio FC set to announce the signing of Ghanaian midfielder Moses Odjer on loan.

According to media reports, the White-blacks are closing in on the former Black Satellites after reaching an agreement with Salernitana.

Odjer, 21, joined Salernitana in the 2015/16 season from Catania and was an influential figure for the side.

Despite his young age, he has already made more than 80 appearances in Serie B.

The former Tema Youth youngster was one of the best players of the Black Satellites at the Fifa U20 World Cup in Turkey in 2013.

Moses was reported to have caught the attention of Manchester United, FC Porto and Benfica scouts at the tournament.

He made 10 appearances for the Black Satellites and scored 2 goals.
