EXCLUSIVE: Kotoko set to loan out George Abege and 3 other players

Published on: 31 December 2019

Ghana Premier League giant Kumasi Asante Kotoko is looking to send out four of its players on loan before the January transfer window is shut.

The players expected to be shipped out included Ugandan forward George Abege who joined the club from Kariobangi Sharks, defender Stephen Ayiku Tetteh, Alex Didi Arnold, and Kingsley Effah.

According to sources in Kumasi, the decision to particularly seek a move for George Abege is due to his inability to make an impact since his arrival in the West African country.

The 3 other players are not expected to enjoy more minutes this season and hence the club believes it will be best to send them elsewhere to get some first-team football.

With the domestic transfer window set to close on January 13, 2020, the Porcupine Warriors are optimistic about finding clubs for all the four listed players.
