Asante Kotoko are set to announce the signing of the Niger international Souleymane Dela Sakou, according to reports.

The tough-tackling midfielder is said to have reached an agreement with the Porcupine Warriors ahead of a proposed move after it was revealed that the Niger captain was in Ghana a few days ago to conclude talks with the officials.
Sakou was the skipper of the local-based senior national team of Niger of the last edition of the WAFU Cup held in Ghana last year.

He made six appearances for Niger during the 2017 WAFU Cup where he was included in the tournament best team.
The Kumasi based side already boasts two foreign players in their set-up namely Burkinabe striker Songne Yacouba and Mohammed Sylla from Ivory Coast.
