Published on: 04 December 2020

Ghanaian forward Kwasi Okyere Wreidt has recovered from injury and is set to play in his first league game for the Dutch top flight club, footballghana.com can exclusively report.

Wreidt transferred to the club from Bayern Munich's reserve side amid some huge expectations due to his laudable finishing ability.

However, his start to life in Willem II hit a rock after sustaining an metatarsal fracture during a friendly match with the side.

His return will be a huge boost for the club as they are currently struggling in the league. They are 14th on the log after 10 matches and have accumulated just eight points.

Wreidt was born in Hamburg but is available to feature for Ghana in the future.
