French Ligue 1 side Girondins de Bordeaux have completed the signing of WAFA star Haruna Jamal in the on-going summer transfer window, Footballghana.com can exclusively confirm.
The 18-year-old penned a four-year deal with the Matmut Atlantique Stadium outfit after passing his medical and completing the formalities.
The club's official statement reads "The Club is pleased to announce the arrival of Jamal Haruna! The player engages 4 years with the Girondins and joins the reserve team."
"Jamal Haruna strengthens the FC Girondins de Bordeaux, reserve team! The 18-year-old is linked to the club until June 2023."
He will be featuring for the club's reserve side in the 2019/20 season.
In 2017, the former Ghana U-17 prodigy underwent trials at German Bundesliga champions Bayern Munich.
Jamal played in an instrumental role in WAFA's campaign in the GFA Normalization Committee Special Competition where he bagged four goals for the Sogakopr-based club.
