According to information from Bild and the Belgian newspaper Het Nieuwsblad, Nana Ampomah is about to move to Belgian-based Royal Antwerp.
At Fortuna, manager Uwe Klein asserts: "We have no offer."
Management member Klaus Allofs adds tellingly: "But you never know what will happen until the end of the transfer window on October 5th."
It is still unclear whether Ampomah will be loaned with an option to buy or sold directly.
The 24-year-old was brought in from Belgium side Waasland-Beveren for around 3 million euros, making him the second most expensive Fortune in the club's history.
The former KV Mechelen II player's current market value is €1,300,000.
