The ministry of sports in France have given permission to Amiens duo Nicholas Opoku and Emmanuel Lomotey to represent Ghana at the AFCON qualifiers, footballghana.com can exclusively report.
The French Leagues 1 and 2 had initially blocked all foreign players in their leagues from playing for their countries.
But, they eventually changed their mind and allowed foreigners outside the European Union to travel to their countries.
This allowed Emmanuel Lomotey and Nicholas Opoku to join the squad ahead of the matches against South Africa and Sao Tome and Principe.
The duo will be available for both matches after travelling to South Africa with the squad.
