Ghana's Group H opponent South Korea will play three friendly matches against Brazil, Chile, and Paraguay ahead of the 2022 World Cup in June footballghana.com can report.

South Korea will play Brazil in Seoul on June 2 before playing Chile and Paraguay on June 6 and 10, respectively.

This set of friendlies with South American teams would provide South Korea with a "good opportunity to assess its strengths and weaknesses," according to the association.

South Korea is placed 29th in FIFA's rankings and is competing in its 10th World Cup in a row after finishing second in Group A in the final round of Asian qualification behind Iran.

South Korea will play its first game at the 2022 World Cup against Uruguay on November 24th.

They will be captained by Tottenham star Son Heung Min who has scored 19 goals in the Premier League this season.
