The Ghana League Clubs Association (GHALCA) has bailed out cash-strapped Techiman City ahead of their premier league game against Hearts of Oak, footballghana.com can reveal. According to our checks, the Techiman based side could not raise the needed funds for their trip from Techiman to Accra for the game.

But GHALCA as a welfare body of the clubs stepped in to provide financial support to the team.

Techiman City president Charles Kwadwo Ntim popularly known as Micky Charles some time ago threatened to pull out of the league due to financial constraints.

The League is just seven match days to end and the Ghana Football Association is yet to secure a title sponsor.
