Atletico Madrid midfielder, Thomas Partey, is seeking more than £200k per week from Arsenal, footballghana.com can exclusively report.
The 27-year-old has been linked with a move to the Gunners in the last few months with Arsenal coach Mikel Arteta, reportedly fond of the player.
Footballghana.com understands that Partey has asked the Gunners to give him over 200k pounds a week in wages. It is unknown if Arsenal are willing to accommodate those demands.
They still have to agree a fee with Atletico Madrid. Partey's release clause stands at €50 million. Arsenal initially offered a player plus cash deal which Atletico Madrid swiftly rejected.
Partey has been a key player for Atletico Madrid this season, making over 40 appearances in all competitions.
