Turkish club Gazişehir Gaziante have parted ways with Ghanaian midfielder Yusif Rahman Chibsah, Footballghana.com can confirm.

Both parties have mutually decided to terminate Chibsah's contract following the financial difficulty the club is facing due to the coronavirus pandemic.

He was one of the consistent players for Gazişehir last season, making 24 appearances and scoring one goal.

His impressive performances have seen him been linked with a move to newly promoted Serie A side Benevento as they seek to strengthen their midfield for the topflight.

The Ghanaian international played for Benevento from 2016 to 2018 and was a key cog of the team as he made 55 league appearances and scored six goals in the process.

Lecce and Cagliari are also reportedly interested in signing Yusif Rahman Chibsah in the on-going summer transfer window.
