Eric Alagidede, the general manager of Nsoatreman FC, has revealed that the organizers of the FA Cup did not consult the club before announcing a free gate for supporters at the final match.

Nsoatreman FC emerged victorious in the FA Cup final, defeating Bofoakwa Tano in a penalty shootout after a thrilling 1-1 draw at the end of extra time.

Alagidede expressed his surprise at the committee's decision to announce a free gate without involving the two teams playing in the final.

"That is also very true initially we got a communication that we should bring the number of tickets we will need for our people who will come and watch the match. Prices even came out 50 cedis, 20 cedis, and 70 cedis etc so I was also a bit surprise that the committee went out to announce free gate without getting the two teams who are playing involved we also know that the MTN FA Cup when you play after the game then the share the money among both teams," he told Peace FM as monitored by Footballghana.com

"So from Nsoatreman's perspective as the general manager I can tell you that I think the Africa that we are preparing for we have little time we wont get time to chase this money we are moving forward with our program but if our brothers (Bofoakwa Tano) say they wont let it go and will chase the FA to get their money I think it is their right to take that step but if you ask me from Nsoatreman perspective I think they things in front of us are a lot if we add this to our program it won't help us because there is no time,"
