King Faisal assistant coach Godwin Ablordey has emphasized the importance of his team's upcoming FA Cup quarter-final match against Aduana FC.

The 'Insha Allah' boys will host Aduana at the Dr. Kwame Kyei Sports Complex on Sunday, April 9, 2023, with the winner earning a spot in the semi-finals.

Despite their recent form improvement in the Premier League, Ablordey stressed that his side will not underestimate the threat posed by Aduana FC.

He told Kessben TV that the FA Cup is known for its unpredictability, and his team is fully aware of the risks associated with complacency.

Ablordey also revealed that the team is focused on the FA Cup and will be putting their league campaign on hold to concentrate on the knockout competition.

“The FA Cup is full of surprises and anything can happen. We will make sure to move into the next stage.

"We will not be complacent but we will take the game seriously. We are putting the league aside to concentrate on The FA Cup to progress to the semis.”
