The representative of Asante Kotoko recruits Mr.Gyasi says the family of new signing Naby Keita is elated back home in Guinea.

Keita completed his free transfer to the Porcupine Warriors on Monday becoming the first signing of new coach C.K Akonnor on a three-year contract.

The player impressed against the Black Stars during a friendly match between Asante Kotoko and the senior national men’s team at the Baba Yara Stadium during the last international break.

Following his move to the Porcupine Warriors, his family back home cannot hide their joy.

“For the family of Naby Keita Kotoko is like Manchester United. They are so happy following the success of Naby’s transfer to Kotoko. He played for Horoya but Kotoko is a bigger club,” Mr.Gyasi told Kumasi-based Silver FM on Tuesday as reported by FootballmadeinGhana.com.

“Kotoko is a massive club and Naby is very happy to join."

“He is a determined player ready to achieve big things."

“That is why he is nicknamed Balotelli. His view is that soccer is a profession and he plays it like he would done any other job. This is why they call him Balotelli in Guinea. His is always about getting the job done and that is what Kotoko fans should expect,” the agent explained.

Asante Kotoko will be playing in the CAF Confederation Cup this season and Keita who also played for Horoya AC is expected to boost Kotoko's attack that already has Songné Yacouba, Obed Owusu and Frederick Acheampong.
