Faroe Islands outfit FC Hoyvík have successfully secured the signing of Ghana Premier League goal king Abednego Tetteh.

Tetteh joins the second-tier club after ending his stay with Ghana Premier League side Bibiani Goldstars at the end of last season.

The forward is expected to play a huge role for his new outfit as they seek to make a meaningful impact this campaign.

The former Hearts of Oak and King Faisal attacker decided not to continue in the Ghanaian top-flight, citing disrespect from the Ghana Football Association after being rewarded with a GHC5,000 voucher to visit the dentists as goal king prize.

Tetteh has already made two appearances for the club, scoring one goal and providing two assists in the process.

He was a key member of the Bibiani Goldstars squad during his short spell with the club, scoring 18 goals to annex the Ghana Premier League goal king at the of the 2022/23 football season.
