Fatau Dauda set to join Accra Hearts of Oak as goalkeepers trainer - Reports

Former Black Stars goalkeeper Fatau Dauda is reportedly on the verge of joining Accra Hearts of Oak as the club's goalkeepers trainer.

With a wealth of experience and a remarkable career under his belt, Dauda's potential addition to the coaching staff has sparked anticipation among fans.

Currently, Dauda is the goalkeeper's coach for the Ghana U-20 team.

Dauda began his football career in 2004 with Ghana Division 1 League club Okwawu United.

Fatau Dauda played for teams including AshantiGold, Orlando Pirates, Chipper United, Enyimba, and Legon Cities FC prior to his retirement from professional football.

He played in 26 matches for the Black Stars between 2008 and 2015, was a member of the Ghanaian national team's squad for the 2008 Africa Cup of Nations, and was the tournament's starting goalkeeper in 2013.

The 38-year-old retired goalkeeper holds a CAF license D and C certificates.

The Phobians finished 12th in the 2022/23 Ghana Premier League with 46 points after 34 games.
