Fatawu Safiu voted MVP in Trelleborgs FF’s 3-1 win against Norrby IF

Ghanaian forward, Abdul Fatawu Safiu has been voted ‘Man of the Match’ after his outstanding performance for Trelleborgs FF in their 3-1 win against Norrby IF on Sunday in the Swedish Superettan.

The highly-rated attacker was in action at the Borås Arena when his club visited their Matchday 13 opponent yesterday.

Abdul Fatawu Safiu did not disappoint his manager for the starting role as he put up another impressive display to help the team.

Though Trelleborgs FF trailed at halftime courtesy a 6th-minute goal from Dijan Vukojevic that handed Norrby IF the lead, they came back from the break to draw level through Salif Camara-Jonsson on the 64th minute.

Ten minutes later, Ghana’s Abdul Fatawu Safiu scored with a good finished to give his team the lead for the first time on the day.

Late in the game, Fredrik Liverstam also registered his name on the scoresheet to seal an important 3-1 win for Trelleborgs FF.

At the end of the match, fans of the club have voted Abdul Fatawu Safiu as the Man of the Match for his display of quality and hard work.
