Donkor, who currently plays for Bundesliga 2 side Eintracht Braunschweig, has caught the attention of these German clubs with his impressive performances on the pitch. As such, both FC Augsburg and VfB Stuttgart are reportedly vying to sign the player in the upcoming transfer window.

Eintracht Braunschweig is in 16th place on the league table and is fighting against relegation to the third division.

FC Augsburg is monitoring Donkor's performance in the second tier. And the 25-year-old, who excels in one-on-one encounters and frequently goes on the attack due to his lightning speed, is also on the list at VfB Stuttgart. Although Donkor is legally obligated to Eintracht Braunschweig through 2024, there are two gaps in the agreement.

Donkor has a manageable summer release clause. If the Lower Saxony are relegated, the former DFB junior international could even switch for free. The first interested parties have positioned themselves. Serie A club Udinese Calcio had already had their eye on Donkor in winter.
