FC Kaiserslautern turns down initial bid for Richmond Tachie from CSKA Sofia

FC Kaiserslautern has rejected the first offer from Bulgarian top-flight club CSKA Sofia for their German-born Ghanaian attacker, Richmond Tachie.

The 25-year-old striker will remain with the "Red Devils" for now, as the club is eager to keep him unless a more enticing proposal comes along.

Tachie has been a valuable asset to FC Kaiserslautern, contributing three goals and seven assists in his limited appearances. His impressive performances have made the club reluctant to part ways with him, unless a substantial transfer fee is offered that could be reinvested in the team.

According to a report by Bild, CSKA Sofia's initial bid for Tachie was deemed unsatisfactory and promptly rejected. With the recent acquisition of third division leading scorer Jannik Mause from FC Ingolstadt, FC Kaiserslautern may not need to seek a replacement if Tachie does end up leaving. This could potentially leave room for further personnel changes in the near future.

As per Transfermarkt, Richmond Tachie's current market value stands at 800,000 euros, which might influence the negotiations for the sought-after attacker.
