Ghanaian midfielder Edmund Addo has been spotted with Real Madrid midfielder, Toni Kroos.

The young attacker was influential for Moldovan club FC Sheriff Tiraspol as they stunned the Spanish side in the Champions League on Tuesday night.

Sheriff Tiraspol recorded a 2-1 win against the 13-time European champions at the Santiago Bernabeu.

Goals from Jasurbek Yakhshiboev and Sebastien Thill (in the 89th minute), either side of a Benzema equaliser gave Tiraspol their famous win.

The all-important win has propelled Sheriff to the top of Group D with 6 points after two matches played.

Addo was the coolest head for the Moldovan team, completing 92.3% of his 13 passes in the game, the highest percentage of any player who completed more than two passes for the away side.

He also completed both of his long passes, switching play almost effortlessly as Real Madrid grew more frustrated.

Addo was even more involved defensively as the game wore on, agitating the Madrid team filled with superstars with two tackles and two interceptions, breaking up Madrid attacks with ease.

He also finished the game with one clearance and was fouled twice as Madrid struggled to get the ball off him when he was in possession of it.

Addo is yet to earn a call up to the national team, the Black Stars.
