FC St. Pauli attacker Daniel Kofi Kyereh makes Black Stars debut in Ethiopia win

FC St. Pauli attacker Daniel Kofi Kyereh was given his maiden appearance in the Black Stars team on Friday evening in the world cup qualifying game against Ethiopia at the Cape Coast Stadium.

Kyereh was named among the substitutes for the crucial game, he was a late call up due to injuries that has hit the squad in recent weeks.

The attacker was part of the attacking trio together with captain Andre Ayew and Jordan Ayew, operating at the right side of the attack in the second half.

The former TSV Havelse player was busy and chased every ball when he came on in the 28th minute replacing Crystal Palace man Jeffery Schlupp.

In the 67th minute of the game with Black Stars leading 1-0, Daniel Kyereh hit first time from 20 yards but he scuffed the shot wide.

Kyereh will be hoping for another run out against Bafana Bafana in Johannesburg.
