The Technical Director for FC Twente, Jan Streuer has expressed his excitement to the signing of Ghanaian forward Issah Abbas as he heaps praise on the pacey attacker.
Last Monday, the Dutch Eredivisie club announced to confirm that they have secured the services of the youngster on loan from Mainz 05 for the remainder of the season.
At FC Twente, Issah Abass will be expected to provide a needed squad boost to help the team finish well in the ongoing Dutch top-flight league.
Speaking on the latest acquisition, club Technical Director Jan Streuer could not hide his joy as he stressed that the forward will be a good player for the team.
“It is great that we have Issah Abass in the selection. Abass is a strong and fast striker, who can also play on the sides. He is an energetic boy with a very good drive. As soon as the work permit is in place, he can join the group,” he said as quoted on the website of the club.
Issah Abbas, 22, will hope to enjoy regular playing time at FC Twente to ensure he continues his development.
