Ghana Football Association Communication Officer Henry Asante Twum has revealed that FIFA hasn't replied the complaint the FA made against Moroccan-born American referee Ismail Elfath.

Referee Ismail Elfath officiated Ghana's first Group H game against Portugal.

The Ghana Football Association (GFA) petitioned the world football governing body, FIFA, over the atrocious refereeing in Ghana's defeat to Portugal at the 2022 World Cup n Qatar.

There was no use of the Video Assistant Referee (VAR) as Ismail Elfath made more than two questionable decisions that should have been reviewed.

“We played Portugal on 24th November today is 11th January they (FIFA) have not even responded. The referee was the fourth referee for the final between France and Argentina," he told Asempa FM as monitored by Footballghana.com

"FIFA is the biggest football organization in the whole world we petition FIFA 26th or 27th November till date they haven’t replied,”
