Fit-again Daniel Amartey feature for Leicester City in 2-0 win at Tottenham

Ghana international Daniel Amartey featured for Leicester City on Sunday afternoon as he helped the team to post a 2-0 win over Tottenham Hotspurs in the English Premier League.

The midfielder who can play as a defender when the need be has been out with fitness issues on the back of several injury setbacks in the past few years.

Now back to full fitness, Daniel Martey earned a place on the Leicester City matchday squad today to help the team fight for points off Tottenham Hotspurs.

On the matchday, the Ghana asset was introduced in the 60th minute to replace full-back Timothy Castagne after picking up an injury.

Playing in the final 30 minutes, Daniel Amartey displayed good form and looks set for a starting role in the upcoming games of Leicester City.

Today, a penalty converted by Jamie Vardy plus an own goal from Toby Alderweireld has handed the Foxes all three points.
