Fit-again Mohammed Salisu to return to action for Southampton against Manchester United

Ghana international Mohammed Salisu is in line to make an injury return for Southampton when they face Manchester United this weekend.

The Black Stars defender has missed the Saints last four games after picking a knock during their game against Wolves on February 11.

Salisu has not featured since Ruben Selles took over at the club following the sacking of Nathan Jones.

He missed the Premier League games against Chelsea, Leeds United and Leicester City and the shocking FA Cup defeat to Grimsby Town.

It is said the 23-year-old has recovered and could be in action for Southampton against the Red Devils on Sunday.

He is expected to play a huge role for the Saints who are battling relegation in the English top-flight.

The defender has been named in Ghana's squad for the upcoming Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers against Angola.
