Top football agent, Hanni Sadiq has revealed the reasons why Ghanaian Footballers struggle on trials abroad.

The FIFA agent, who is responsible for the transfers of players like Thomas Abbey, Kwame Kizito, Samuel Sarfo and Hans Kwoffie intimated the primary reason for players failing at trials in a poor youth system.

“The reason is, let me be honest, the Ghana league is not strong, the players are slow compared to the Egyptian League or the Middle Eastern league, you have good players and skills but they are very slow,” he told Sintim Koree Charles Kele of Zylofon FM.

“Secondly, you have problem with the youth teams, you don’t have good coaches to promote good players when they are young, and the players are growing they only have talent and when they go out they struggle to get a team or succeed at trials,” he added.

The former Egypt International added the football Association will have to speed efforts in growing juvenile football.

“The football federations must work very well for youth football and spend a lot of money on juvenile football,” he added.
