As the world of football continues to make sense ofthe startling revelations made by Football Leaks throughout the last week, the latest set of documents released by the company has revealed the staggering commission fee that Gareth Bale's agent pocketed for sealing the Welshman's big money move to Real Madrid back in 2013.

Bale left White Hart Lane in the summer of that very year for what was at the time, a world record fee, with reports suggesting that the total sum was an estimated £86m.

His move tothe Bernabeu was never likely to come cheap, but Football Leaks' latest data dump has cast doubt on whether Bale's transfer fee actually exceeded £100m

Reports in theSunsuggest that the Welshman's agent, Johnathan Barnett, received a whopping £14.24mfor brokering the deal and sealing Bale's dream move to the Spanish giants.

It has not yet been established whether that figure was included in the overall price or if it was an add on that has gone somewhat under the radar.

It is unlikely that Barnett will have received all of the reported £14.24m commission fee though,as the agent works for the company Stellar, and they are thought to have seen the bulk of the money.

Regardless of what fee was eventually paid for Bale's services, the winger has proved to be a big hit in Spain and recently signed a new 6-year-deal with Los Blancos worth a reported£18m a year.

Despite enjoying a solid start to the current season, the Welshman has been sidelined for several weeks after suffering an ankle injury in late November and is unlikely to return until late February at the earliest.
