Football legend Maradona offers Spurs star Kane shooting advice

Argentina football legend Diego Maradona offered some advice to Tottenham striker Harry Kane when he attended Spurs 4-1 demolition of Liverpool at Wembley Stadium on Sunday.

While flanked by Spurs legend Ossie Ardiles, Maradona spoke to Kane and goalkeeper Hugo Lloris and advised the English striker that he should switch up his shots so that goalkeepers do not get used to what he does.

"Good luck, good luck," Maradona said. "Oh, and Harry don't always go near post with your shots. Go across goal sometimes.

"You know why? Goalkeepers watch you on TV all the time. So next time… across!"

Spurs went on to demolish Liverpool through a brace from Kane as well as strikes from Heung Son-Min and Dele Alli.

The win leaves Spurs in third position on the League standings with 20 points from nine games. They are now level on points with second-placed Manchester United and face a crunch encounter against the Red Devils this weekend.
