Former Asante Kotoko forward Robert Eshun confirmed dead in London

Former Ghana international, Robert Eshun has been confirmed dead on Monday, October 23.

He passed on at the age of 49.

Eshun died after he experienced a heart attack while driving to work on Monday morning according to reports.

Robert Eshun, popularly known as Ebo Electric is famously remembered for his goal in the final of the 1990 FA Cup.

He was a member of Asante Kotoko's African Championship squad. He was also a valuable member of Kotoko's squad.

Eshun's dazzling performances did not go unnoticed by European clubs, who were keen on signing the young sensation after his outstanding display for Ghana during a U-21 AFCON qualifiers tournament in Egypt.

Eshun played for Asante Kotoko before moving to Belgium to play for Turnhot, Tielen and Lommel in the early nineties.

The pacy winger also spent time in the Turkish Super Lig with Gazientep before later playing for Sarawak in Malaysia.

Throughout his active football career, Eshun's extraordinary dribbling skills often left opponents and fans alike in awe.
