Former Ghana Black Stars head coach, Avram Grant has noted that Chelsea has been better than Manchester United, Arsenal, and Tottenham Hotspurs in the English Premier League this season.
According to him, the Blues have been impressive since the start of the ongoing 2019/2020 campaign even though they could not do any reinforcement during the summer transfer window.
Speaking in an interview with The Athletic, Avram Grant who has noted that the side is doing great under new manager Frank Lampard.
He believes that Chelsea has been better than the big guns in the division if you take away Liverpool and Manchester City.
"Chelsea have a good coach, with good players. It is a good environment, they are more relaxed in a good way that is healthy for the players.
“Apart from Manchester City and Liverpool, the other ‘big’ teams are not so good. Arsenal, Manchester United and Tottenham are not performing well.
"On the football side, Chelsea has been better than all of them. I think Chelsea can be good this season and build well for the future."
Chelsea currently sits 5th on the EPL standings after picking up some important points on the road prior to the international breal.
