A former Ghana national team head coach, Avram Grant has set his sight on returning to the African continent to continue coaching.

The Israeli tactician has applied for the vacant Zambia (Chipolopolo) coaching job and hopes to be given the job.

In his most recent job, Coach Avram Grant worked in India where he served as an interim head coach for NorthEast United.

Unfortunately, things did not go well for him. The ex-Black Stars coach played 17 matches and lost as many as 14.

He only won two matches and drew the other one.

Now without a job, Coach Avram Grant believes he is ready for a new challenge. He is now one of over 120 coaches that have applied for the Chipolopolo coaching job.

He was last in Africa in 2014 where he was the head coach for the Ghana national team. He has a good CV after working with Hapoel Petah Tikva, Maccabi Tel Aviv, the Israel national team, Portsmouth, and West Ham United among others.
