Former Black Stars forward Derek Asamoah has expressed his happiness after playing with his son at English side Cheshunt.
In football, it is a rare feat for father and son to share the pitch in a game, let alone in the same team. But Derek has achieved that feat and could not hide his delight after he and his son Maleace played for Cheshunt in their 3-0 FA Trophy victory at Lowestoft last week.

"I've trained and watched you grow as a footballer...never in my wildest dream did I think we would be teammates and making history???joining an elite group," he posted on his Instagram account.
"Well done on your debut #onwardsandupwards."

Asamoah made four appearances for the Black Stars and scored one goal.
