Ghana attacker Lawson Bekui says he will welcome a move to Europe after an impressive season in the Omani League with Champions Al Dhofar.

The former Dreams FC man netted 17 goals in 22 appearances as the Salalah-based club won the league trophy for the first time in ten years and also reached the domestic cup final.

“The Omani league is not bad but I think I have done enough and I have to seek for a new challenge which will enhance my chances for a Black Stars call up,” Bekui told Footballmadeinghana.com

“Not many Ghanaians are playing in the Gulf region so the national team coaches do not look there much. I must get to Europe, prove my self and look forward to a national team call up,”

“I am treated like a king in Oman and the fans love me so much. I have three more years left on my contract so if I do not get any deal in Europe, I will continue with my club,”

Bekui was named as his club’s player of the season for 2016/2017.
