Former GFA boss Kwesi Nyantakyi and Hasaacas Ladies Pres. Nana Bayin visit Christian Atsu's family to console them

Former GFA boss, Kwesi Nyantakyi with the President of Hasaacas Ladies, Mr. Benjamin Nana Bayin Eyison were at the family house of the late Ghanaian international, Christian Atsu today.

The one week celebration for the former Chelsea and Newcastle United star is slated for Saturday, March 4 at the Adjiringano School Park.

Christian Atsu's body was met at the Kotoka International Airport by the Vice President, government officials, GFA, and the Twasam family on Sunday 19th February.

Meanwhile, the family is yet to announce a date for the final funeral rite of the former Chelsea winger.

The Ghanaian winger had recently scored his first goal for Hatayaspor just hours before the natural disaster struck.

During his career, Atsu played 65 matches for Ghana, scoring nine goals. Two of his most famous goals came in the 2014 World Cup qualifier against Egypt and in the 2015 Africa Cup of Nations, quarter-finals clash against Guinea, where he scored an absolutely breathtaking goal.
