Ghana Premier League outfit Dreams FC have announced the capture of former Hearts of Oak and Ghana shot-stopper Sammy Adjei as the club's goalkeepers trainer.

The legendary Ghanaian goalkeeper is expected to transform the goalkeeping department of the Still Believe side ahead of the new season.

He joins the reigning FA Cup champions with a lot of experience as they strengthen their technical team ahead of their maiden African campaign.

“Former Black Stars goalkeeper Sammy Adjei is our new Goalkeeper Coach” the club wrote on their official Facebook page.

Sammy Adjei is revered as one of the best to have come out of Ghana, after helping Hearts of Oak to multiple titles and was a key member of the Black Stars team that qualified for the first time to the FIFA World Cup.

He played a huge role when Hearts of Oak won the Ghana Premier league on 6 consecutive times, the CAF Champions League and the CAF Super Cup in 2000 and 2001 against Esperance de Tunis and Zamalek of Egypt respectively.

Dreams FC have been paired against Guinea outfit Milo FC in the CAF Confederations Cup first preliminary round.

The Still Believe lads will travel to Guinea for the first league tie before the reverse fixture at the Accra Sports Stadium.
