Former Ghana international Joseph Alfred Duncan could win double this season following Fiorentina’s qualification to the finals of the UEFA Europa League.
Duncan was not in action when Fiorentina defeated FC Basel at away on Thursday night to progress.
The Serie A side inflicted a 3-1 win over the Swiss giants in the second leg at the St. Jakob-Park after extra-time. Before the reverse clash, Basel had inflicted a 2-1 win over Fiorentina in Italy.
The Serie A outfit produced a scintillating performance to progress to the finals, 4-3 on aggregate and will face English side West Ham United on June 7, 2023.
Fiorentina are already in the finals of the Coppa Italia and will lock horns with Inter Milan on May 24, 2023.
This means the former Black Stars midfielder could win two trophies at the end of the season.
