Former Ghana midfielder Bernard Mensah provides assist in Kayserispor away draw against Konyaspor

Former Black Stars midfielder Bernard Mensah provided an assist to help his Kayserispor outfit to secure a draw against Konyaspor in the Turkish Super League on Sunday.

The 28-year-old started the game and lasted 68 minute in his outfit 2-2 away draw against Konyaspor.

Kayserispor got the opening in early second half through Miguel Cardoso after connecting from the Ghana international pass. Mensah set up his sides opener in the 46th minute mark.

But the visitors could not hold onto their lead as Konyaspor found the back of the net two minutes later to restore parity through Ugurcan Yazgili.

The visitors scored again to restore their lead through Miguel Cardoso who scored his second goal of the match but the home team responded quickly and equalize through Soner Dikmen.

With no additional goals, both teams had to settle for a draw in the week 33 fixture at the Konya Büyükşehir Belediye Stadyumu.

The former Black Stars midfielder has scored five goals and provided three assists in 25 games for Kayserispor this season.

His current contract will elapse this summer and could leave the club at the end of the season.
