The Phobians succumbed to a last minute 1-0 defeat at the Aliu Mahama Stadium in the match week one of the domestic top-flight last Friday.

Owusu Afriyie emerged as the hero, soaring above the opposition's defence to head home the decisive goal as RTU kick started the season with a crucial victory over Hearts of Oak.

Attah has come under intense pressure after committing a late blunder, which led to their defeat in Tamale.

But Dida has backed the goalkeeper as he believes he made some crucial saves during the game.

“So far so good. He did well but people are criticizing him for that mistake. He made very brilliant saves in the first half. He conceded a bad goal but we must support him because he saved us in the first half.”

“What we see in this country, is what we talk about. But we must encourage him. He is a good goalkeeper.” He told Kessben FM.
