Former Kotoko striker Kwame Poku open to joining Nations FC

Former Asante Kotoko forward Kwame Poku has revealed that he is open to the possibility of joining Ghana Premier League newcomers, Nations FC.

The forward who currently plies his trade for Moroccan club Olympique Khouribga in an interview with Vision 1 FM monitored by Footballghana.com expressed he will join the Kumasi-based club with a good offer.

“Nations FC were after my services last season, they wanted me to join to help secure a promotion to the Premier League. I wouldn’t be surprise if they approach me again having secured promotion to the top-tier league”

“Never say never. I don’t know what the future holds, it is football and anything can happen. If they come with a good offer, I play for them” he said.

Kwame Poku left Kotoko to join Algerian club USM Algiers after impressing in the 2020/21 season, where Hearts of Oak emerged as winners of the league.

The Ghana international was transferred to Olympique Khouribga after failing to hit the ground running at the club.
