Former Asante Kotoko winger Augustine Okrah has opened talks with Hearts of Oak over a possible transfer.

Okrah is currently a free agent after a short stint with Tanzanian giants Young Africans. He is expected to find himself a new club before the start of the new season.

The winger joined the Tanzanian side in January 2024 after a stellar performance with Bechem United during the mid-season transfer window.

This marked his return to Tanzanian football after a challenging stint with Simba FC two years ago.

But it is unknown why the enterprising winger parted company with Simba SC after just six months spell at the club.

Okrah is currently in Ghana negotiating to secure a move before the start of the new season.

And according to Kessben FM, the highly-rated winger is in talks with Hearts of Oak, who are keen to secure his services for the new season.

Hearts of Oak endured a difficult 2023/24 season after finishing 14th in the Ghana Premier League.

However, the Ghanaian giants has stormed the transfer market searching for quality players to strengthen their team ahead of the new season.
