A former Liverpool attacker Craig Bellamy has disclosed that despite being a very difficult player to coach, Jeremy Doku is a forward who will give his everything for his coach.

Craig Bellamy spent time with Doku at RSC Anderlecht when the youngster earned a name for himself in the Belgian Jupiler Pro League before sealing a transfer to French side Stade Rennais FC.

Speaking on the character of the wing wizard, Craig Bellamy has indicated that he is a very tough kid.

“Even Doku at Rennes, he rings me all the time now and he knows I’ve got his back. He was a difficult player. Antwerp boy, tough kid, beyond talented,” the ex-Liverpool man told The Central Club in an interview.

Craig Bellamy added, “Don’t mess with him – you can’t talk down to him, because he’ll just go the other way. Get him on side, let him know you care about him because if you care about him, he’ll play like anything for you.”

Although Jeremy Doku has not played regularly this season due to several injury setbacks, he remains on the books of English giants Liverpool.
